On a rainy summer day, something truly magical happened - the wedding of Emilie and Andrew. As a photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing this beautiful and captivating event. Despite the rain, love was in the air, and the joy of the couple was infectious. As they exchanged vows in church, their smiles illuminated the room. It was evident that their love was strong and unwavering.

The rain may have altered some of the plans at the DCBL stadium in Widnes, but it certainly didn't dampen the spirits of the bride, groom, or their guests. Laughter echoed throughout the venue, creating a truly lively atmosphere. I was determined to overcome the challenges that the rain presented. With a little bit of creativity and the couple's willingness to venture outside, we captured some truly breathtaking shots. The raindrops added a touch of romance and helped create a dreamy aesthetic.

I loved being able to get out onto the pitch at the DCBL in Widnes for all of their group shots. We also managed to head into the stands for some lovely couple portraits of both Emilie and Andrew. The couple had even brought some personalised umbrellas ready for the rainy day ahead, which will bring back some lovely memories from their big day.
