I am an experienced photographer specialising in documentary style wedding photography across Liverpool, Wirral, Cheshire, Wales and beyond!
Having completed a degree in computing science, I started my career off as a web designer. Later on, I decided that I want to share my computing skills with others, so I became a secondary school teacher (which means that I am excellent at organising people!) However, having grown up with a photographer father, who had converted our garage into a dark room, I had always had a love of photography. I always enjoyed photographing landscapes (let's face it, who doesn't?) Anything to do with photographing nature, animals, (derelict buildings even, yes!!!) interested me! One thing I'd never really done though was photograph people, so I decided to do some street photography, focussing on capturing photographs of people going about their every day business. I loved capturing that momentary look on someone's face, which is what led me down the path of wedding photography.
I tend to focus on documentary style photography, so you won't even know I am there. I offer a variety of wedding packages to suit your needs and budget. I can photograph the bride and groom preparation, the ceremony and your guests arriving. Moreover, I will photograph the afternoon wedding reception at your chosen venue, plus I am happy to spend twenty minutes or so with just the bride and groom alone taking some fantastic couple shots. I am more than happy to do organised family / friends shots too, and I find that most couples want this. Depending on your requirements, I will also photograph the wedding speeches, and cake cutting, all the way through to the first dance. All of your requirements can be discussed when we meet in the lead up to your wedding, so that I know exactly what you want from me on your wedding day. I also offer pre-wedding engagament shoots so that we can get to know each other a little better, which will help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera when your wedding day arrives.
